I saw my first shooting star tonight...or tomorrow morning. I
should say. It is now 4:36 a.m.
...What's your journal for? A shoulder? An ear? A friend?
Dave is all that and more. He's objective. A teacher. A councillor.
A lover. A friend.
I spent tonight with him at Urban Well. That place was quite
impressive. The cuisine is flavourful and inventive, fresh,
inviting, and the decor and atmosphere is amazing. Plush lounge
chairs....me and Dave snacked on calimari, dined on veal, risotto
and organic baby zukes and finished it off with chocolate pate.
I was impressed.
We went to the club part of Urban Well, then off to star gaze at
Stanley Park. We didn't see a shooting star all night. . . .
But myself, alone on the drive back...saw a bright line across the
sky. Second Narrows never seemed so still than at that moment, then
it was gone.
I have pills. I still have about 2 months to go before I do
anything. :)
Don't worry; I worry enough for everyone..
I hear birds chirping and it's getting light outside. Morning.
